Explore Some Fabulous Places During Las Vegas Holidays

by Daisy Wilkinson Travel Guides

An exciting American city known for its wide range of offerings in gambling, entertainment, and nightlife, Las Vegas attracts plenty of tourists from different parts of the world annually. It has achieved worldwide fame as 'Sin City' owing to its tolerance for various kinds of adult entertainment. Many of the popular films, television series, and music videos have used Las Vegas as a setting for some of their scenes. During your time spent in this thrilling city of the United States of America, you'll get the chance to explore some of its popular attractions.

The best times to enjoy your Las Vegas holidays are the spring season from March to May and autumn from September to November. During these times of the year, the climate in the city is extremely pleasant with comfortable daytime temperatures. The hotels and resorts also offer considerable discounts on accommodations during these seasons. Summer from June to August is characterised by hottest daytime temperatures in this part of the world, making it quite uncomfortable for tourists to enjoy sightseeing and other outdoor activities. As Las Vegas is warmer than other parts of the USA in winter, tourists choose this season to spend their holidays in the city.

You'll have a wonderful time exploring 'The Strip', which is Las Vegas Boulevard's 2.5-mile-long section. It is lined with massive entertainment complexes and each of them has been built with a unique theme. Don't miss the 'Fremont Street Experience', which is an excellent music and visual show that takes place every night on Fremont Street, a five-block section in the old downtown of the city. You can enjoy some fantastic views of the city from the High Roller Ferris wheel located on the Linq Promenade. Each of its cabins has the capacity to hold up to 40 individuals.

Mob Museum, officially known as the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, is also a place worth exploring. This building has been built in the neoclassical style of architecture and gives some intriguing insights into the history of organised crime in Las Vegas. The individual characters and events related to the world of crime have been displayed in the form of some interesting exhibits. You can also indulge in some exciting outdoor activities while holidaying in this American city. One of them is a helicopter ride which allows you to savour the awe-inspiring aerial views of Las Vegas and its surrounding regions.

Several companies in the city offer helicopter rides and some would take you as far as the Grand Canyon if you choose a 6.5-hour tour. There are many other interesting things to do while holidaying in Las Vegas and one of them is Vegas Indoor Skydiving. You can enjoy this unique experience of skydiving without jumping off from an aeroplane or using a parachute. The qualified and experienced instructors at this indoor skydiving facility take you to a vertical wind tunnel as soon as everyone puts on a special gear. When the large fan is turned on, anyone can float in the air without any prior experience of skydiving.
