Engaging and Simple App Design Is Key

by Apps True AppsTrue

A market research has been done on home delivery of foods in the EU.  It seems that by developing an app, the industry has seen a marked rise in turnover and revenue.

It is unbelievable that the average smartphone user checks his mobile over a thousand times per week and spends on average thee hours per day for all kinds of things.  Most of them have downloaded a Takeaway delivery app.

If you are on the go all day and get home exhausted, you may not have the time or inclination to cook and these apps are very useful in ordering and paying for food and having it delivered to the door.

With such a vast audience at your fingertips it makes sense to have an app designed for your business to help you increase your turnover.

In order to hold your audience’s attention an app should be easy to use, interesting and not take hours to read.  The search engines can tell that if a customer stays on a page for a while that the contents are interesting to the diner.

From this information you can have an app designed that has all of the above, so that the customer will want to order from you.

For this reason your app will have to be carefully designed.  You may also give some thought to a logo for your business.  If the logo is engaging it will catch the eye amongst the thousands that are to choose from in the app store.

Of course, a takeaway outlet has a great selection of menus to choose from.  It will help to break foods into sections with bold headings to make it easier for your customer to choose what he is going to have for dinner for lunch or tonight.

Novices trying to use an app need a simple to navigate site, otherwise they give up and go somewhere else where it is easier to order.  So keep it simple and engaging otherwise you will lose them.
