Introduction to Emeralds:

Emerald is the most fascinating member of the Beryl family. It is a green to greenish blue variety of Beryl. Emeralds are formed with a combination of common elements aluminum and silicon with a rare element beryllium.

The trace amounts of either of chromium or vanadium or the combination of the both gives Emerald a distinctive green color. While the presence of iron gives stone a slight bluish tint.

Emerald is the most prized variety of the mineral Beryl. It sometimes fetches higher prices than diamond. It appears as pale green to bright green.
A huge quantity of emerald gemstone is found in Colombia, Zambia, Brazil and Zimbabwe.

Introduction to green gemstones:

Green is the second most abundant color in the world of nature, after blue of course. It’s a sign of life; it’s a sign of money, greed, and jealousy; and it’s even a color associated with aliens. In addition, green represents rebirth, spring, and balance.

Green gemstones are popular among jewelry aficionados, designers, and collectors alike. The vibrant to rich hues make them equally exciting to wear and work with.
Here I am listing some of the green gemstones to help you find what you are looking for.
Peridot:

Peridot is one of the few gemstones available in only one color - green. However, peridot's unique green color can range from vivid and intense shades of yellowish-green to dark brownish-green.

Peridot belongs to the olivine series of minerals and is a magnesium-rich gemstone-quality variety of forsterite. Peridot is a rare example of an idiochromatic gemstone.

Green Onyx:

Green Onyx is a green colored gemstone. But Onyx is a layering of the crystalline mineral chalcedony and quartz settled as micro fine crystals. On onyx, there are some layers of opaque moganite which gives the onyx opaque, banded look. Onyx can’t consider as proper gemstone and its composition may also vary according to its color.

Jade:

Jade is mostly known for its imperial green variety, the term 'jade' is actually an umbrella term that encompasses a variety of gemstones.

The term “Jade” represents the two stones “Jadeite and Nephrite”. Both these stones are of green color and these both are minerals which are made up of different silicate, but they both vary from each other.

Green Beryl:

The pale green shade of Beryl is referred as Green Beryl. Beryl is a cyclosilicate with the chemical composition Be3Al2 (SiO3)6. Green Beryl is colored by the presence of iron. Iron usually provides a yellow secondary color in Beryl and sometimes even a bluish secondary color.

The variety of Beryl- Aquamarine is an example of the effect of iron. A Green Beryl gem can vary from translucent to transparent, which results in increasing the shine and brilliance of the gem.
