After burning internal combustion engines for more than a century, the transportation sector is now on the verge of a makeover. Electric vehicles are the new obsession of this sector, experiencing rapid growth in developed and developing countries. The adoption of electric vehicles on a mass scale will bring about a lot of changes in the world, transforming our personal transportation options and building a future devoid of petroleum and related fossil fuels, therefore, decreasing the environmental footprint of transportation.
