  • First of all, create a local copy of the data file.
  • Turn on hosting on the computer where it is copied. 
  • After that, open the file and sign in as administrator.
  • Click on File, choose Utilities and click Rebuild Data.

Method 2: Use the QuickBooks File Doctor Tool

  • The first step is to download the latest version of QuickBooks File Doctor.
  • Double-click on the file and follow the on-screen prompts to finish the installation process.
  • If it doesn’t open automatically then go to Windows Taskbar and open it.
  • After that, click on Browse and find QB company file facing issues.
  • Initiate QuickBooks File diagnostics to fix the errors.
  • Select between the two options given below:
              - Choose Both file damage and network connectivity option if you have QuickBooks 6000 series errors and QB company file is damaged.
              - Select Network Connectivity Only option if there are QB Network issues while opening the company file in multi-user mode. If you face Error H101, Error H202, Error H303 or Error H505.
  • You need to enter Company File Admin Password when prompted and click on Next.
  • Choose Yes if you are present in QuickBooks Server / Host.
  • Choose No if you are present in QuickBooks Workstation.
