Don’t Zombify your Website Traffic
by Aaron Harris Web Traffic Expert Stop spreading the virus! Don’t contaminate your viewers! Don’t zombify your website traffic by knowing these “un-zombify” tips here!Halloween is just around the
corner! In less than a week, you’ll be seeing lots and lots of scary stories,
films and movies about monsters and stuff on the internet. One common monster
genre that you’ll probably see here are zombies. Yes, lots and lots of zombies!
Zombies here, and zombies there! And what’s so unique about zombies is that
they are one of the most feared monsters in the world. Of course, would you
rather choose to be bitten by a zombie (which makes you slow, rugged and
hungry) or by anyone else that is not slow, rugged and hungry? That’s what your
website traffic would probably be watching any moment from now.
There are also zombies in the marketing world. You may not know it, but these people can easily be zombies. One infection in this group can cause the whole group to become “zombies”. If you are not careful, you’ll be able to turn all of them into zombies at once!
Still have no idea? It’s your web traffic!
Yes, your website traffic can turn into “zombies” if you’re not careful with them!
But don’t you
worry, marketers! To avoid such “contagion”, you must read this list on
how NOT to zombify your traffic.
· Do not give them motives to become zombies – We know that zombies do not actually turn into zombies because they want to, but your traffic can turn into one if they want to. As much as possible, don’t drive the nuts! Give them what they want in the best way that you can. Remember, a marketer’s job is to meet their customer’s demands and expectations.
· Do not force them to wait that long – Putting up so much expectations is one thing that an online marketer should really avoid. Only give what you can do and produce. Do not let your customers go on a blood lust just because you didn't make it on the cut or you didn't pass on those resources within the deadline. This practice would never increase website traffic.
· Do not infect them… - in the way that you put your emotions in your business. Sometimes, letting some steam off through your brand isn't a great idea after all. Pulling strings with emotional tension could lead you in choosing shrouded decisions. When that happens, your visitors will be annoyed, and they would start acting emotional with your brand as well.
· Do not aggravate your website traffic – So you have your targeted website traffic in your site and you are ready to roll, but then, a troll commented in the comment. You got so angry that you talked back in an angry tone. This is a big marketing mistake!
So fellow marketers, don’t zombify your website traffic! Let them live alive by giving them what is enough and what is right. Stop spreading the contagion! Don’t be a spreader, and be a saver! That’s how you market right.
