DIY SAREE WAIST BELT

by Prakriti Joshi Freelance Journalist

Hey you beautiful people, so you know that I love wearing saree with a fabric waist belt so I found another do it yourself and its really easy and it is how to make a saree waist belt, I know that they are really costly and if you guys knew how cheap and easy this is to make and probably you will never buy it again. So let's go.

THINGS YOU WILL NEED:

·        Any ribbon fabric, lace that is having finalized edge (so that no sewing is needed)

·        Scissors

·        Needle and thread

·        Belt clasp

PROCEDURE:

1.    Pull couple of inches from one side of your fabric into clasp and hem stitch the fabric. Stitch fabric tightly and cleanly as it will be visible after you wear it.

2.    Now measure the length around your waist and mark it. I do not know about you girls but I like my waist belt tight as it perfectly shows the curves.

3.    No loop your clasp at the other end of the fabric, cut it and sew it. It’s always better to check belt twice (by trying on waist) as sometime looping is done in wrong way. Once you are done with checking, sew it.

And it’s ready, so girls what do you think, definitely this is super cute and easy. So let me know if you like it, if yes comment below and do subscribe to my newsletter for new updates

Till then take care :)
