Divorce Rates In The United States Of America

by Allen Mark Consultant
Problems in marriages and then resultant it into separation, have now become very much common. People do not seem to understand their partner. In fact, they do not want to tolerate even a single and minute mistake of their spouse. This is reason, whenever such condition occurs; the result is by default dissolution.

If we talk about alone America; then you will be surprised to know that the country faces this problem at very frequent rate. In fact, not from now but from past many years; divorces were a common culture in American society.

Early in 2002, the average divorce rate in married couple was around 4.5 person per thousand. Means every fourth to fifth American was filing for the divorce petition in back 2002. And, if we talk about its comparison from rest of the world; then America used to stand at fifth rank worldwide in divorce percentage.

However, this divorce rate varies from state to state. In accordance with a report; Nevada state tops in the maximum divorce list and Washington State is too facing the same issue. Yet, Washington State divorce procedure has in fact made it simpler to get divorce.

Just follow a few strict guidelines and verify your petition and you will be legally divorced. Moreover, if we go into the details about these divorces then we will find that around 30% of the total divorces, takes place within the first 10 years of the marriage and both the partners involved in the marriage are first timer married.

This report was generated by a survey done by a famous divorce service provider firm called as Washington Divorce Online and it was conducted in around 2002.
However, if we believe into another report then, trust into marriages has been gradually increasing year by year in last few decades. Like, in case of Washington State, compare the divorce rate of 1999 to 2000 then further to 2006 and 2011; you can easily see the difference.

Back in 1999, the divorce rate in Washington was around 5.9, which declined to 5.4 in 2000, further to 5.0 in 2006 and finally it dropped to 4.6 in year 2011. Hence, you can say divorce rates are falling down.

People have now started trusting their partners and have started believing in marriage terminology or concept. Now, they want to spend their life with one partner. Good news it is.
