What Is The Most Important Element for Content?

All of the perfectly formed words and phrases do very little to stimulate a website without readers to read was has been crafted.

Content writers MUST take their readers into consideration when developing articles and posts.

The most important element of all great content is the READERS.

It really is that simple.

Visitors WANT TO KNOW that they matter.

Finding ways to connect with the people who spend time on your site will help you continue to carve out your place in the niche.

The KEY to SUCCESSFUL content writing starts with a RELATIONSHIP with the readers.

Seriously….

Keep Readers the Focus

 1. Take the time to find out WHAT  your visitors want to read.

*Put up a survey (there are a number of places where you can create one for free) and find out the heart of the matter for your visitors.

*Use these subjects to create a series of posts and then use any comments from these posts to develop deeper inspection of the topics.

2. Invest some energy into getting to know your visitors –

ESPECIALLY those that TAKE THE TIME to POST a comment.

*Visit their websites and comment on those sites if possible.

*You may also want to send an email directly to the reader and offer a thank you for the time and effort put into the comment made on your site.

3. Use social media to connect even more.

*Watch the posts and walls of followers or friends to see what might be on their minds.

*Use those inspirations to create your content and be sure to give a link to their site and acknowledge where you got the inspiration.

4. Set up a program that will analyze your visitors.

*You can learn which articles get the most attention from search engines, who has been visiting your site and even what other websites are linking back to your articles.

*All of this information can give you more places to connect with your visitors and build relationships with those that are spending time on your site.

Consider this….

Great content can sit on the internet shelf with no readers to enjoy the well crafted phrases.

Great content can spill over from one page to the next on an otherwise empty website.

Great content is really just a lot of words UNLESS someone stops by to read what has been written.

Bottom line is….

Taking the time to develop a relationship with the readers will do more than boost your website.

It will help in the development of great content as you understand the needs and wants of the people stopping by your site.

The more you learn and the more you know the EASIER it will be to craft content to match what the visitors are searching to find.
