Mixing of styles and fusion wear, both are on the trend these days, and a traditional dupatta undoubtedly is a perfect choice. With the women kurta you can style dupatta in multiple ways, apart from this you can use a traditional dupatta with a dress, lehenga, and with so many attire. It is one of the most versatile accessories that can go with ethnic as well as with western clothes.

You can fill your closet with printed dupatta, plain dupatta, tassel dupatta, border detailing dupatta, and more. To change your styling or to give it a new twist, with a stylish dupatta say- “bring it on”.

And here we are to suggest multiple ways in which you can use your dupatta in different styles. So check out the suggestion below:

Bring it on as it is:

Wearing a heavily printed dupatta with plain kurta or suit in a simple way always looks so elegant. So from our list, we cannot omit this suggestion. You can make few pleats, or carry it in a cowl style. You can pair traditional jhumkies, jutties, and bindi on the forehead for the amazing traditional attire.

Drape it with Dress:

If you are bored of wearing the same dress in the same style every time, give it a new twist using bright printed dupatta. Take the dupatta tie a knot taking both the ends lengthwise. Wear the dupatta keeping knot at the back of your neck, and secure the fall with a belt. Complete the look with kolhapuri flats and oxidized earrings.

Like a second Pallu

You can pair it with your saree, making it a second pallu of the saree. For this style, you will need a saree and contrasting to it, take a dupatta. If your saree is very simple, then you can take a heavy dupatta to pair with it. Wear the saree normally as you do, after that take the dupatta and secure it on the other shoulder and take the back end of it and tuck into the side waist. To give it a perfect festive or wedding look, wear your jewelry and heels, and don’t forget to pair the embellished mask.

Dupatta Jacket

For those kurtas that are plain or to uplift the beauty of white kurta, you can use your printed or embellished dupatta as a jacket. To make your dupatta a jacket, you need to take ends of it and tie a knot, do this on both sides and make two loops for each arm. Then wear it as a jacket, and if you feel it a little bit loose, then secure it using a belt.

There are multiple ways to use or re-use your dupatta, you can even use your old dupatta from kurta set or lehenga to create new looks with your casual clothes. Remember to keep the styling classic and elegant, this will work great as a new twist to your style.
