Difference between B2B, B2C, C2C & C2B Business Models
by Aarif Mohammad Sr. Digital MarketingThere are mostly four types of business models:
1. B2B – business-to-business
2. B2C – business-to-consumer
3. C2C – consumer-to-consumer
4. C2B – consumer-to-business
In business to business (B2B) marketing, companies or businesses are focused on selling products or services to other businesses or organizations. For example, for use in production of goods, for use in office supplies, or for resale to other consumers etc.
In business to consumer (B2C) marketing, businesses sell products or services to consumers over the Internet. For example, Restaurants, retail stores or e-commerce websites sell their products or services to individual customers.
Consumer to consumer (C2C) marketing facilitates the transaction of products or services between customers. It provides an innovative way to allow customers to interact with each other. For example, through newspaper advertisement, customers can sell their assets like cars, rent a room etc. and other customers may buy their product. In both these cases, a customer sells products or services to another customer.
