Eligibility Criteria For UPSC IAS 2016
 
To appear in UPSC IAS 2016 it is necessary for the candidates to first fulfill all the eligibility conditions. If they don't then their application will not be accepted under any circumstances. 1. Candidate must be Indian or a PIO (Person of Indian Origin). Indian origin people includes candidates from Bhutan, Nepal, migrants from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or other East African countries of Zambia, Uganda, Kenya, Zaire, Vietnam, etc. Tibetan refugee who moved to India for permanently settling will also be eligible.
 
2. Candidate's age must be between 21 years to 32 years. However age relaxation will be applicable as per the UPSC norms.
 
3. Candidates must possess a degree from a recognized university. Candidates in their final year of technical and professional education are also eligible for the exam provided that they must be able to show their result, when demanded.

UPSC IAS 2016 Application Form
 
To complete the application process for UPSC IAS candidates will have to submit their form as well as pay the application fees. The details filled in the application form must be correct and as per their documents. The application will be considered only if both the stages are completed. Once paid, fees will not be refunded or adjusted anywhere else.
 
They need to pay 100 as application fee. Candidates of reserved candidates need not to pay any application fees. It can be paid via online or offline mode as well. Candidates must keep their receipt safe with them as it might be required in further processes.
 
Candidates those who submit their application successfully for UPSC IAS 2016 will have to download their admit card after it is released by the Commission. It will be available on the website of UPSC only. Admit card of IAS will be required to appear in the exam.
 
Moreover to get finally selected in UPSC IAS 2016 examination  candidates need to perform well in all the selection process. They will have to score atleast qualifying marks in the written exam. The qualified candidates will then have to attend the interview rounds.
