The change free policy is only applicable to flights originating from North America and a waived change fees is offered to the above-mentioned Delta Tickets originating from outside of North America. There are two main flight changes, one is the Standard Ticket Changes and the other is Same-Day Ticket Changes and you can apply for on or the other as long as you meet the requirements as per the policy.

If you haven’t made change to your flight ticket prior to the departure then the ticket will hold no value. The Basic Economy Tickets are Non-Changeable so you will have to buy another ticket if you wish to change your flight.
