DDA LDRA Policy - Book Farm Houses in Delhi

Delhi Development Authority in 2013 made a new policy known as DDA Low density Residential Plots (LDRP) where the authority reduced the plot of the farmhouse from 2.5 acres to 1 acre. The Authority has really taken some good and effective steps so that the people who always dreamt of building a farmhouse in Delhi NCR can actually make it truly.

The Ministry of Urban Development declared some villages in Delhi as LDRA. These areas already have farmhouses and in such areas the groundwater level is decreasing day by day. These areas are becoming a hindrance for civic infrastructure and it is affecting the drainage system and water supply. These villages are considered as the Low density residential area.

Now this new 1 acre farmhouse policy will surely be very beneficial for the buyers and they will able to build a luxurious Farmhouse in Delhi which will be under Delhi jurisdiction and under Delhi Municipality. In future they will be under Delhi Smart City.

The main feature of the DDA LDRA policy

Delhi Government and India Government identified some villages which come under DDA LDRA Policy. Now the point is that how many people wishes to live lavishly in the spectacular 1 acre farmhouse. There are some unique features of the policy:

Initially minimum area for the farmhouse construction was 2.5 acres. But now it is reduced to 1 acre where one can build a luxurious farmhouse.
One who always dreamt to own a farmhouse in DelhiNCR, now it is no more a dream,because it is now affordable to build a farmhouse of maximum 8712 sq ft.
Now most of the farmhouses in South Delhi costs more than 50 crores. Now with the LDRA policy the prices will be 3-5 crores and one can easily make or buy a farmhouse.
DDA with its LDRA policy is literally gifting a dream farmhouse to the people of Delhi in a much affordable price in decent area of land within the urban quarter of the city.
