Measuring customer satisfaction is a herculean task. There are so many big cooperates and business people who are working to gain more and more profit. It is a hard fact that business is nothing without profit. Actually whenever a customer comes to know about a new company or the product then it is not much difficult to attract him if he is not satisfied with the product he is already using. Customer is being more literate and intelligent. He wants to have much by spending less or you can say that he fancies worth of his each and every penny spent on the product.

This leads to a competition in the market. There was a time when monopolies of the product were there. One product used to rule on the market for long time as people were having fewer options. Now the scene is different. Bank fiancés and availability of huge capitals has made business easy. That is why it has become easy to run a business by issuing shares in public as well. The money here is gathered in small amounts but becomes a huge capital for the business. When quite much competition is already there, then how it may be easy to gain profit for long term? Measuring customer satisfaction has also no fix criteria. Any company can boast of knowing customer behavior but actually it is really tough to predict the success or failure of the product in market.

Customer retention management has become a peripheral to gain long term profits. Any company even giving better services, lacks one time, can end up in losing a valuable customer. Customer retention management, is a really an issue to be talked when we know that nothing is mortal and permanent in this business world. This formula tells us that if any business company will try to take an advantage from the customer by making him fool then it will repent. Actually media has made the business both easy and tough. If it has given the facility of spreading the knowledge about product then it has also the power to defame the company.

Customer is a king of today`s business, he has right to shift and even right to claim his rights. If any company is selling many products by the result of good publicity then it can only sell more products by retaining its old customers.
