by elina John IT Expert

First-person shooter game Crysis has been popular in the gaming world for over a decade now. When it was first released in 2007, gamers were stoked to find a game with such good graphics and gameplay. The last release titled Crysis 3 in the game series was on February 19, 2003. It was released on platforms such as Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The story of the third game revolved around the Prophet, a holder of the Nanosuit who embarks on a path of revenge on the Alpha Ceph, the leader/commander of the Ceph alien race. The story served its purpose as the end of the Crysis game trilogy.

Crysis Remastered Has Already Been Released on one Platform

The latest trailer of Crysis Remastered has teased a final release date of the game on different platforms after going through specific graphic updates. This particular version of the game was released for Nintendo Switch on July 23, 2020. However, its release on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 was delayed due to poor graphics showcased in the game trailer.

The developers of Crysis Remastered, Crytek recently revealed that people would be able to play the game on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The new trailer with enhanced graphics revealed the release date to be September 18, 2020. The Remastered version of the game will include features such as a ray traced reflections, an overhauled lighting system with global illumination, and a whole lot of other things. The trailer also stated that this version would include high-quality textures up to 8K resolution.

One other exciting thing the trailer revealed is that Crysis Remastered will be an Epic Games Store exclusive on PC. This decision may not work well with all those who use steam.

Crysis: A First-Person Shooter Game Involving Military Soldiers With Enhanced Nano Suits

Crysis is a first-person shooter game developed by Crytek, a German video game and software developer. The storyline of the game revolves around military personnel equipped with nano suits. These suits are technologically advanced and give the soldiers enhanced capabilities such as physical strength, cloaking, defense, and speed.

The soldiers are tasked to fight against dangerous mercenaries, North Korean soldiers and an ancient race of technologically advanced aliens called Ceph. According to the game’s story, the aliens arrived on planet earth millions of years ago. The Crysis series consists of three installments, a standalone spinoff of the first game with a separate title, and a trilogy.

Crysis Comes with an Interesting Gameplay Filled With Different Modes

The Nanosuit’s armor mode in the game gives the suit an ability to withstand shrapnel and bullet impacts. Players also have the option of switching through different modes incorporated in the suit. One of the most exciting features in the gameplay is the cloak mode. The optical cloaking device on the sheet makes the player almost invisible.

Multiplayer gameplay modes in this franchise have introduced futuristic weapons based on the ice technology introduced by the alien race Ceph.

If a player opts for the single-player mode, the Raptor team will be fighting both the North Korean soldiers and Ceph. Crysis also includes other weapons such as assault rifles, submachine guns, handguns, and sniper rifles. All these weapons can be enhanced with different types of scopes and attachments used in real-time.
