All these important items are just to make your kid’s birthday a memorable one for them and their friends. There are literally hundreds of birthday party ideas available; and whatever idea you choose to go with, you must make sure that you involve the kid in the preparations leading up to the big day.



For kids, a birthday celebration is all about having a good time with their friends and eating their favourite food. You need not necessarily have to throw a lavish party with buying expensive gifts to please the kid, but simple things like making a birthday cake of their favourite flavour or baking a muffin for them and their friends can give with great joy. Invitation


Every birthday party celebration starts with sending an invitation, it sets the tone for the party. If you are planning the decoration around a particular theme based on your loved ones interest like a Barbie theme or a superhero them, you can ask your child to creation a decoration as they want. Assist them in preparing a design and in choosing the decorative items. Let them blow the balloons, and place the glitters as they want. Allow the kid to choose the decorative items of their favourite colours and designs.

Preparing the menu

No birthday party is complete without food. Remember, the birthday celebration is about catering to the interest of your child. Make sure that you have their interest in mind while planning the menu. Ask the child to list down their favourite food items and see what you can include in the party menu. This will not only make him/her feel special and wanted, but it will also give him/her a huge sense of belongingness. You can also get them involved in the preparation process, like garnishing the cake or choosing the best toppings for the pizza. This will make the child feel even more excited.

Plan games

Apart from the food, decoration and exchanging gifts bit, the best part of a birthday party for the kids is the games. Ask the kid for different gaming ideas; the games they would like to play or the games they usually play at school with kids. Create a list of few games and get them involved in planning and executing the same. You can even plan a few games based on the theme you have chosen.

The most important part though is to ensure that you make the birthday boy/girl part of each and every game.
