Everything in moderation - Of course, if you drink three bottles of wine and water in the meantime, well done you probably will not - indeed, just like when you feed the whole day cakes and chocolates. But surely you know that moderation for anything has proven to be reasonable.

Some may think of a funny ad for candies that regular consumption promised transformation from a scrawny creature. However, in addition to the already various dietary tricks; in one of the first issue of Reader's Digest came out fairly detailed set of tips and tricks to combat overweight and maintain a slim figure.

Some of them now seem entirely beside the point, but others (with slight variations) surprisingly correspond to the current recommendations of experts on nutrition. Which it is, you can read below.

"For each of us there is an ideal weight, which can be easily achieved without greater effort and sustain it." Today is actually scientifically proven that there is an individual weight range that is natural to the body. Part of this is based on our genetic makeup and how much weight we gained in childhood.

This weight, however, is not a matter of course. Where weight is stable, it also depends on our eating habits and overall lifestyle. Overeating and stress, combined with lack of sleep and exercise is a guaranteed recipe for your ideal weight.
