Christian Extremist: God Says in the Bible That Climate Change is Fake News!

by Rudy P. SysAdmin at howtofindthemoney
Former Minnesota congresswoman and Christian extremist Michele Bachmann claims God says climate change is fake news because God promised Noah there would be no more floods.

Genesis 9:11 - "I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth."

2 Peter 3:12 - "Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat"

Bachmann, appearing on Jan Markell’s “Understanding The Times” radio program last weekend, made the case that climate change is a hoax because “God says we will never be flooded.”

Bachmann said:

I would encourage pastors to start preaching on this issue of climate change and God’s view of climate change. The very covenant was established by God and Noah. And that covenant was that sin was so gross in the world that God had to bring about judgment, and then he had to bring about salvation, and from there came Abraham. God put a rainbow in the sky as a sign of his covenant and he said very clearly to the entire world, ‘Never again will there be judgment, never again will the world be flooded.’

Bachmann added:

You can take it to the bank, that’s God’s word. And what is it these frauds tells us with climate change? That the world’s going to be flooded. Isn’t it interesting they’re saying it’s going to be another catastrophe, it’s flooding, we’re going to be flooded? God says we will never be flooded.

Bachmann continued:

I want to challenge every pastor listening, would you please give a sermon on climate change and God’s view of climate change? This isn’t being political, this is being biblical, and I am begging the pastors who are listening, be biblical on issue after issue after issue. Be biblical because God’s people are perishing because of lack of knowledge, and the greatest antidote to deception is knowledge. And that’s why we need the pulpits to prepare people with what the Bible says about truth.

Last April Bachmann made headlines after claiming that she’s never seen a more “godly” or ‘biblical” president than Donald Trump.

Previously, Bachmann served as part of President Trump’s Evangelical Advisory Board, providing “support” to Trump on “issues important to Evangelicals and other people of faith in America.”

More recently, Evangelical leaders have been pushing Trump to name Bachmann as the next ambassador to the United Nations.

Bachmann is a controversial figure, and a dangerous Christian extremist. In the past, Bachmann has:

  • Argued that immigrants should be indoctrinated into “America’s predominant Christian religion;”
  • Attributed the United States’ success to the Ten Commandments while claiming that U.S. lawmakers stand “under the authority” of the ancient biblical figure Moses;
  • Claimed that gays promote child rape, and pedophilia;
  • Claimed that God uses terrorist attacks to humiliate President Barack Obama.
