by Manish Kumar Marketing Head

The “down under” city of India, Chennai, which is basically the capital of Tamil Nadu, is situated on the Bay of Bengal. It is one of the cities of India which is highly rich in culture and traditions. There is a pure vibe to this city. Chennai is such an extravagant city, that it offers multidimensional attractions to the tourists who visit the city to get a colour for it.

One of the most famous things in Chennai is the Marina Beach. It is just not a thing in Chennai. It is actually its lifeline in a true sense. The most interesting fact about this beach is that it is the world’s second largest with a length of 13km! Its beautiful soft and sandy stretch touches two extremes of the city. The waves running in roles, the wind going in the hair, the horizon making two worlds into one, all this creates a perfect picturesque view. Apart from the view, the beach is always high on a carnival mood. Some small shacks with food and games make the place complete for the tourists. This is the always on the top of the list of the tourists who come to visit Chennai.

Chennai is easily reachable by airways and railways both. Generally, airways save time. Since time is money and it is generally the main thing to be managed while one is out for a holiday, budget hotels near the Chennai airport contribute their best to such a situation. How so? It helps the tourist on saving time by not letting the person face the traffic jam in the middle of the city when the tourist can get a brilliant room, with fantastic services and impeccable hospitality right out of the airport.

Visiting Chennai is never complete if someone didn’t visit the beautiful temples. Temples in Chennai have such extraordinary work of carvings and sculpture, inside and outside of it, that such a vision leads a person to a world of pure bliss. One of the most famous temples in Chennai is the Kapaleeshwara Temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is a huge complex with numerous devotees coming in to seek blessings from the Almighty. No matter how crowded it gets, but there is a calmness that is very contagious and quickly instils into anyone who visits the Kapaleeshwara Temple.

Apart from the Marina Beach and the Kapaleeshwara Temple, other things that attract the tourists are The Thanlankuppam Pier, Elliot’s Beach and Fort St. George etc. Along with the growth of tourism in Chennai, the main attribute of tourism has grown too. The hotels in Chennai are widely spread throughout the city with the sole purpose of providing hospitality to the best level possible and make the guests consider Chennai just like home.
