This Yatra got started in the 8th century by the Adi Shankaracharya, who was a great Hindu reformer. He was the one who coined the term Char Dham where Char stands for four and Dham stands for places. He was the one who triggered the people to take the Char Dham Yatra if they want to achieve salvation in their life. Every year, annual pilgrim initiates in April and ends in October. Out of all the four places, Badrinath is considered as one of the most auspicious sites because Adi Shankaracharya attained freedom from incarnation at this place.

Gangotri: It is the place where river Ganga originates. It is considered as the place, which is the seat of goddess Ganga. You can enjoy the evening or morning aarti in the temple and relax in the hotel. From here, you can start your journey towards Kedarnath.

Kedarnath: It is the place, which is famous for the Shiva temple. According to Hindu as belief, this place is the home for Lord Shiva and his family. This place is also famous for Adi Shankaracharya’s shrine. A huge number of people visit the place every year.

Badrinath: This place is famous for the existence of Lord Vishnu. You can enjoy the aarti in the temple and walls of the temple because the temple has beautiful and bright paintings of Buddhist Ghompa. At this place, you will end up your Char DhamYatra 2023.
