Change starts in your mind.
Not in a supplement, with a gym membership or any other given product.
Last week I posted about some of the limiting beliefs many of us walk around with,
“I’ll never lose this weight”
“I’ll never be happy with my body – it’s disgusting”
If you (yes, YOU) hold any such beliefs about yourself, please understand – they HAVE TO change.
Here’s three questions I want you to ask yourself right now;
1. What has each belief cost you in the past, and what has it cost people you’ve loved in the past? What have you lost because of this belief? See it, hear it, feel it.
2. What is each costing you, and the people you care about, in the present? See it, hear it, feel it.
3. What will each cost you and the people you care about one, three, five, and 10 years from now? See it, hear it, feel it.
Take five, ten or twenty minutes out to SERIOUSLY think this through.
And after going through the pain of dwelling on what your limiting beliefs are costing you – it’s time to start creating new beliefs for you to align your life with.
“I’ll never lose this weight” becomes “I can, and will, lose this weight”
“I’ll never be happy with my body – it’s disgusting” becomes “I’m accepting of my body as it is, and I’m going to show it the self-love it deserves to improve”.
Attempting to make any kind of change (be it a new exercise programmers or modifications to your diet) is near impossible whilst your busy beating yourself up with all the reasons on why you can’t do it.
Change your mind, and you may just change your life.
