CBSE syllabus for Class 10 is all encompassing
by Diya Johns Tutor and ConsultantWe all hated examinations
when at school. That is a thought that none of us would disagree with, hands
down. However, examinations are a great way of assessing the knowledge of a
student. The Indian education system is considered one of the best systems
around the world.
Indian education system is mainly sub divided into central and state boards both of which follow a pattern of school and college. The first ten years of the education is divided into primary, upper primary and high school. The later years consist of collegiate education and degree studies. The National Council of Education Research and Training is the apex institution which governs all matters relating to school education in India. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India conducts the examinations for the Class 10 and Class 12. The central board of education is affiliated to the Ministry of Human Resource Development and can be followed by both public and private schools, under the Government of India. The CBSE syllabus for Class 9 is designed by the board, with assistance from the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT).
Class 10 is one of the main
milestones for most of us, because it is after this stage that we get to choose
our area or field of interest for further studies. The CBSE syllabus for Class
10 is also designed in such a way that the student is well prepared to face the
next stage of education and his or her education encompasses the subjects that
the children of that age normally would be expected to know and be aware of.
The CBSE syllabus for Class 10 would generally need a lot
of practice to face the examinations. However, with proper interest in the
subjects, most students would only find things interesting and easy, to face
the examinations.
When facing the
examinations, most of us have different approaches to the entire preparation,
which works for us differently. However, one of the most common ways to ensure
success in facing examinations and to ensure good preparation is to go through
the question papers of the previous years. Some of the publishers, including
the NCERT have come out with sample papers for various classes. The CBSE sample papers for Class 9, for example, cover the
main areas of importance, which would most probably appear as a question, from
the examination point of view. These sample papers would be of great help to
the people, since these would help the people understand the areas of
importance and sharpen their knowledge about the area and help understand the
concepts better.
Facing examinations should
not be considered a scary aspect, since the examination are only a way to help
people understand the concepts better. Examinations help the students prepare
themselves to face the world, with better knowledge and better information as
their key tools and equipment. The curriculums are designed in such ways that
the students find most of the concepts extremely interesting and therefore do
not have to force themselves to learn the concepts.
