Monster Hunter Rise, an action role-playing video game, is all set to release next year, and recently its developers (Capcom) showed some more footage of the game during their Tokyo Game Show 2020(TCG 2020).
Monster Hunter Series is one of the most popular video game series, and now Capcom is all set to carry on the legacy of the Monster Hunter series with its new game Monster Hunter Rise. The developers released a new trailer of the game during their Tokyo Games Show 2020 to give a glimpse of the upcoming game to their fans. Here are the highlights of the trailer that was shown during the TCG 2020 event.
Combination of Monster Hunter World and Original Monster Hunter Games
From the trailer, it appears that Monster Hunter Rise is a mixture of Monster Hunter World and the Original Monster Hunter games, and we must say that they have done a fantastic job. The game has a very smooth combat system and features lots of elements of Monster Hunter World, Monster Hunter world 3DS and Monster Hunter 4 ultimate.
Besides this, all the maps of the game are interconnected too. You also get many new abilities and tools like the wirebug tool in the game for trapping/slaying monsters. This tool works somewhat like the web-shooters of the spider man and can be very helpful in the game, especially when you are trying to climb somewhere.
New Monsters and New Locations
The Monster Hunter Rise team also shared glimpses of some new monsters that are all set to appear in the game like Aknosom, Tetrandon, The Great Izuchi, Magmanlao, etc. However, lots of information is not available about these new monsters and their strengths. Additionally, we also saw two new locations (Kamura Village and Shrine Ruins) in the trailer that the players will explore while playing the game.
In the game, you also get new companions, the Palamaute and the Palico. These companions will assist you in hunting in the game. You can also equip them with weapons and gear in the game. Besides this, you can also use your companions as attacker-type fighting companions in the game. Amazing, right?
Monster Hunter Rise appears to be a fantastic game that will surely make you fall in love with it, especially if you are a big fan of the Monster Hunter series. The game is all set to launch on March 26, 2021, on Nintendo Switch, and after seeing the trailer of the game, we can’t wait to get our hands on the game.
