Cancer Deadly Disease and Advanced Therapy of Cancer

Cancer is a deadly disease which occurs because of uncontrolled cell proliferation. Although lots of research is going on worldwide but more investigation at molecular level is required to find the cure of the disease. Still the life span of the patient can be increased with the help of most advanced therapies to combat the deadly disease Cancer. With this view extensive research was carried out and researchers have developed and have opined that cell based therapy is the most advanced therapy to treat cancer. Among the various immunotherapeutic modalities of Cancer Treatment, Dendritic cell based immunotherapy is one aspect which is being recognized by the scientific fraternity as the most Advanced Therapy of Cancer.


The immune system of the cancer patients is suppressed because of the aggressive disease. The tradition methods of treatment Surgery, chemotherapy and radiation that are targeted therapy will elicit respite to the patient for certain period of time but the cancer can relapse as these targeted therapies will not be able to elicit an immune response.


The most advanced therapy that can evoke an immune response in patients is the Dendritic cell therapy which mimics the immune system that helps to fight against the cancer. The dendritic cells regulate the T- cell immunity and evoke an immune response. Dendritic cell are immune cells which phagocytose the antigen process them and bring to the surface to the other immunes cell to help the T cells to further recognize the cancers cells and attack them. Dendritic cell therapy is now considered as the most Advanced Therapy of Cancer which is going to help the cancer patients at large.
