Canberra Matrix Invites Subclass 190 and 491 Candidates to Apply for ACT Nomination

or the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), nominates eligible skilled workers to
apply for the Subclass 190 and Subclass 491 visas. On 9th January
2020, 200 candidates – who scored between 145 and 80 Matrix points – were
invited to apply for ACT 190 nomination; and 75 candidates – who scored between
125 and 75 points – were invited to apply for ACT 491 nomination.
Aspirants
who have filed an Expression of Interest in SkillSelect, and fulfilled the Department
of Home Affairs eligibility requirements for the relevant visa, can formally
express interest in ACT nomination by completing a Canberra Matrix, wherein
points are allocated to each candidate – based on their ability to contribute
to the local economy and commitment towards living in ACT. Candidates can
choose to be considered for ACT nomination either under the Subclass 190 visa,
or the Subclass 491 Visa. Highest-scoring registrants are invited to apply for
nomination.
