by Mitun Mukherjee Milkio food product

Ghee is without doubt the 21st century superfood that has gained much popularity for its versatility and multiple health benefits. Now making ghee is not tough if you have the right quality butter in hand. Now the question is can you clarify salted butter? Yes, you can but it is not recommended for health reasons. Salted butter contains enough salt which is not good for our consumption.

High quality pastured, grass-fed and organic butter is recommended for making ghee. From a cooking perspective, ghee provides a lovely flavor to recipes. By removing the milk solids from the butter, the smoke point increases significantly. If you use unsalted butter for making ghee it will create extra foam that is not recommended.

Unsalted butter is naturally made by churning pure milk cream. If you use this butter for making ghee, your ghee will be high in nutrition and free from any harmful chemicals. Using ghee in a diet is extremely beneficial. Ghee nutrition is considered to be the most effective one in curing different types of health issues. This superfood is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants that is great for your immune system, brain power, digestive system etc.
