FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(June 03, 2018): Cachet Hospitality Group, the sophisticated hospitality group from Hong Kong, has revived the Playboy Club in New York City. The club was launched first in 1962 in NYC and stayed popular for over two decades before being closed down in 1986. The revival of the club has been possible due to the collaboration of the Cachet Hotel Group and Merchant’s Hospitality.

On November 6, 2017, the Cachet Boutique New York Hotel was opened up as the new flagship property of the Group. It started with exotic dining spots, big label designers and a new version of the Playboy Club, complete with women, wine and Playboy bunnies.

When guests are not partying at the Club or enjoying food or wine downstairs, they can go back to any of the 105 rooms in the property and relish the aesthetic, plush east-meets-west ambience. They can find more art in the lobby downstairs, where a rotating photography and art collection is displayed by the Steven Kasher Gallery.

According to A. Mirza, who is the CEO Hospitality Soul, the new Playboy Club is a throwback to the same members-only lounge that was popular in N.Y.C until about 30 years ago. Playboy, that seeks to reinvent its brand for people across the globe, considers the revival to be a big milestone for it – according to the VP of Gaming and Location Based Entertainment of Playboy, Valerie Golson.

About Alexander Mirza
Alexander Mirza is the esteemed Chairman and CEO of Hospitality Soul who is driving his group from strength to strength in the hospitality industry.
