Sometimes, a single backlink with high quality is more effective in delivering powerful search engine results than tens and hundreds of backlinks with inferior quality.

There are hundreds of deceptive techniques such as hidden links, or automatically generated pages that allow the crooked webmasters to achieve the desired count of backlinks. Hence, the stringent search engine algorithms flag the malpractices of creating backlinks in an unethical way. In case you are earning backlinks from websites that are not relevant to your niche, Google identifies malicious activities and may even assume that you have bought the backlinks.
