O'Neil has stabilised Bournemouth after Scott Parker's sacking

Bournemouth have had a difficult few months, but Gary O'Neil has stabilised the club in the wake of the sacking of Scott Parker. Since taking over the reins, Bournemouth have kept four clean sheets and drew with Brentford on Saturday. The new boss has also praised the players' effort.

Bielsa is eye-catching choice for new ownership

The club is currently struggling in 17th place in the Premier League table, just one point above the drop zone. Bielsa is a renowned Argentinian coach who has worked for clubs across the world, including in Chile and Argentina. If he is appointed as the new manager, he will face a tough task.

O'Neil has a good relationship with players

O'Neil has been in the interim role since before the World Cup break, and the talks with Bielsa were positive. The Argentine, who won the Premier League in 2010, is a fan favourite at the club. He has a good relationship with the players and has also impressed the Bournemouth hierarchy. While he's been in the role for just one season, O'Neil has shown that he can manage in a different way to what Scott Parker did.

O'Neil has been in charge since Parker's sacking

O'Neil was formerly a member of the coaching staff at Bournemouth but was only appointed interim manager following the sacking of Parker earlier this week. Several key members of the coaching staff have since left the club, including goalkeeper coach Rob Burch and analyst Jonathan Hill. However, two academy coaches have stepped in to help O'Neil. The trio led Bournemouth to victory against Wolves last weekend and will be involved again tomorrow when they take on Nottingham Forest.

Bill Foley is interested in O'Neil

There has been speculation that Bill Foley is interested in the managerial position at AFC Bournemouth, which is due to become vacant in the summer. However, O'Neil has denied the claims and insists that he is completely focussed on his role at the Cherries. The Englishman was appointed caretaker manager at the club following the sacking of Scott Parker following a 9-0 thrashing of Liverpool.

Goncalo Ramos is a target for Everton

Everton are in the market for a striker and have been linked with Benfica's Goncalo Ramos. The 21-year-old scored seven goals last season for the Portuguese club but has often played second fiddle to Darwin Nunez. Newcastle and Wolves had been in the running for the forward, but Everton have made a far more attractive offer.
