A boiler is used in many different industries for creation of high level of steam and heat. Most of the processes in these industries are dependent on the proper working of the boiler. Pressure Gauge

The pressure gauge is used for monitoring the pressure of the steam generated by the boiler. With the help of this device, it becomes easy for the operator to control the pressure generated by the boiler and prevent it from crossing the maximum limit.

Water Level Indicator

The water level in a boiler is a very critical element. If the level of the water in a boiler goes beyond the permitted level, then it can be very dangerous for the boiler shell. When the water level goes beyond the permitted limit, the shell of the boiler can develop cracks due to high heat provided to the shell. In order to monitor the water level in the boiler shell, the water level indicator is used. The device is also termed as water gauge. Normally, one can find two water level indicators that are fitted in every boiler at its front for easy monitoring.

Fusible Plug

 The fusible plug is used in the boilers for the purpose of extinguishing the fire in the furnace in case the level of the water goes below the permitted level. It helps in protection of water shells and boiler tubes from cracking.

Safety Valve

The safety valve in a boiler is used for releasing the excess steam from the boiler. Sometimes, there is excess of steam generated in the boilers. If this steam is not blown off from the boiler, it can be a big safety threat for the equipment as well as the people working near it. The safety valve helps in releasing this excess of steam and keeps the boiler safe.

Tube Leak Detectors

If there is a leakage in the boiler tubes, it not only affects the performance of the boiler but is also dangerous for the equipment as well as the workers. The tube leak detector helps in detecting any minor or major leakage in the tube so that it could be rectified at the right time.
