The general certificate of education is an academic qualification under a group of subjects that is given out by educational bodies in a few commonwealth countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Pakistan etc. By giving these examinations, you can pursue higher education in your country.GCE N Level Singapore have three levels where the difficulty grows on each level order:

• The first level is the ordinary level

• The second level is advanced subsidiary level

• The third level is the advanced level

How to register?

There are different requirements to sit for the different GCE N, A, O level examinations. Each of the courses registration requirements varies and you can find out your eligibility by going to the SEAB( SINGAPORE EDUCATION ASSESSMENT BOARD) website.

You must register through your school

If you have to resit for an examination, then you have to resit for the listening, oral and written components of the subject as well.

Before registering for any examination subject, you have to read all the exam instructions and regulations provided by the SEAB. The SEAB might conduct more examinations and issue procedural instructions which will be updated or informed to you via their website.

First, you have to look at your examination time table which will be available at the website.

You will have to get an entry proof from your school.

• It should contain your centre/index number

• Examination venue

• Examination dates and times

• Subjects

if you have to take two papers on the same day, there will be a break in the middle of the two subjects.

Rules and regulations

There is a small fee that includes all the subject fees and basic fees as well. GST is applicable on your examination fees and is taken by the ministry of education.

Financial assistance will be provided by your school if you need it examination fees can be waived off

your school submit your withdrawal request, then you will be given a full refund.

If you set in the examination hall for any of the listed subjects, then you will not be given a refund.
