 The Tokyo Game Show (TGS) has announced new trailers for some of the hottest games coming out of Japan shortly. However, TGS 2020 was a little bit different because it was being presented as a series of live streams and showcases instead of a physical event due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Here are some of the best games shown at the Tokyo Game Show 2020.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a sequel to the game Hyrule, which was released in the year 2014. It is developed by Koei Tecmo Games and Omega Force. Age of Calamity is similar to Omega Force’s long-running Dynasty Warrior series. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch on November 20, 2020.

Medium

The Medium is an upcoming psychological horror game, which is being developed by Bloober Team. This game has an intriguing Dual-Reality gameplay mechanic. It allows the players to walk in two worlds simultaneously to overcome puzzles and open new paths. The players can see both Planes concurrently as the screen is divided vertically.



Nioh 2: Darkness in the Capital

Nioh 2: Darkness in the Capital is the second edition to Nioh 2, which is a PS4 exclusive game. The game takes place in the supernatural world of feudal Japan. The game includes a lot of new features such as a new weapon type, new armor sets, and challenging new boss encounters. The game is going to be released on October 15, 2020.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition is another brilliant expansion in the series. This game plays in the same way as the first game in the series did. Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition is an enjoyable modern art-style game. The Definitive Edition shown at TGS 2020 comes with even more content. These new additions will make this adventurous game more interesting and exciting.

Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires

Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires is another fantastic action combat game, which was also revealed during the Tokyo Game Show 2020. This game is releasing on most of the platforms. It will be released in 2021, however, the actual date has not been confirmed yet. The series of Dynasty Warriors is based on the characters and events of the Three Kingdoms novels. This game was announced as a part of the 21st – anniversary celebrations of the Dynasty Warriors series.

Scarlet Nexus

Scarlet Nexus is an excellent upcoming game, which was revealed in the Tokyo Game Show 2020. This game is coming with the English voice cast for the first time. In this game, the players have to battle against deranged mutants that have fallen from the sky. This is an awesome game and is being developed by some of the people behind the Tales of Vesperia.
