When you have the loving company of your soul mate then every place seems to be just the perfect be it a luxurious resort or an average beach. I remember going to Panchgani for my honeymoon and I was literally in love with the small town although there are many other beautiful hill stations in India to me the place still remains the most beautiful valley my eyes saw. Coming to the post today I am compiling a list of some lesser-known cities which are mostly not the first preference for couples who wish to go on a romantic getaway together.

Jaisalmer

For the perfect desert safari experience in India, there is no place like Jaisalmer to go with your partner. Jaisalmer is located at a distance of 575 km from the capital city of Jaipur. This Golden City is well connected with roads with major cities like Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaipur, etc. Direct train service from Delhi to Jaisalmer via Bikaner is proposed in the Budget. The Luxury train “Palace on Wheels” has a scheduled stop in Jaisalmer.

Varkala

Located at a distance of 60km from Thiruvananthpuram, Kerala has this beach which is surely credited to be one of the beautiful beaches to visit with your soul mate. The rocky cliffs along the sea shore and the blue-green sea bed make the view even more breathtaking. Being one of the secluded beaches in the country, it is a perfect place to have a quiet & relaxed time with your loved one!

Thiruvananthapuram is the nearest city to Varkala and is located at a distance of 50km only. It is well connected by roadways as well as airways.

Wayanad

Another place worth visiting with your better half is the beautiful Wayanad district which is known for its dense forest cover area. It is credited to be one of the most beautiful hill stations in India with a wide variety of flora & fauna. The major cities of Kerela like Kozhikode, Kochi &Thiruvananthpuram as well as the cities of Karnataka (Mysore & Bangalore) are well connected by roadways through the network of national highways. Air transport is also available from most of these cities.

Kutch

Located in Gujarat at the western tip of the state lies this district of Kutch where the exquisitely beautiful salt marsh area is the Rann Of Kutch extending into the Thar Desert area. This land area of salt marsh covers almost 10,000 square miles and becomes a shallow wetland in monsoons & gets dry in other seasons.
