Be unique, in advertising and in choice of affiliate programs.

by Paula van Dun Retired

What keeps amazing me is the huge number of people all promoting the same, most of the time an affiliate program. Often programs which are in my opinion scams but that is not what this article is about.

Since I own the traffic exchange Surf-Bar-Traffic, I surf a lot is several exchanges to promote my exchange in them. I also surf my own exchange regularly to weed out scams and sites with too many pop ups. At times it is vey boring; when you see the same opportunity over and over again. As I write this article idt is Wazzub a program I have second thoughts about but again that is not where this topic is about. It is the same story on social media sites.

Chances to build a downline in a program that everybody is promoting are slim, especially when you use the materials and graphics provided by that program.

Why do people do that? There are so many other things to promote where is a demand for. And they do convert to sales. An ideal situation is where you can promote your own product, service or talent. Or experience. I.e. you have moved dozens of times from one home to another. I am sure there are a lot of people who would gladly pay a few dollar for tip on how to plan an organize the move from one home to another. Even more for tips for emigrating to a new country.

Some people are completely horrified by the thought of throwing a birthday party for kids, having absolutely no clue on how to entertain the little guests an entire afternoon.

If you have experience on that you can write tour own e-book and advertise it on a relevant blogs, forums, social media sites, talent sites, articles and even traffic exchanges when your expertise is related to work from home and/or marketing.

If you do not want to write your own e-book there are plenty to be found on sites that sell digital info products. Many of those offer resell right or the opportunity of joining an affiliate program. I think that is what experts mean when they say "Find your niche to be successful".

So how do I know that you can make money with that? Because I did! I just recently found out. I am a member of clickbank. I set up some promotions more than a year ago; posted a few articles and promoted some of them through  Apsense and text and banner ads in traffic exchanges. Since I am very occupied with promoting my own businesses and business from partners, I never log in at clickbank. Recently I did and found out I have earned 600 dollar there!

So why don't you explore what opportunities you can promote that not everybody else is already promoting? You can find good clickbank deals here. An oher goor resource is IconsClub. When you have found some you can use the tools and features of APSense to promote and share.

Nice article Paula, Yes! You are definitely right that most of us see the same thing which comes again & again. People should always try to search for new things & opportunities, Which help them & others too.
