BC Investment Program

The BC Investment Program is part of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program.

BC’s Entrepreneur Immigration Stream is for all those qualified High Net worth investors who have already successfully proved their management and business skills. They should be able to contribute significantly to the economy of BC while also generating jobs for the locals there. Such qualified individuals should be able to prove their personal net-worth to a tune not less than CAD $600,000. Their minimum investment would be CAD $200,000. BC’s Entrepreneur Immigration –Regional Steam is for all those entrepreneurs who intend to invest in rural British Columbia to buy a running business, invest or set up a new business there. This program was started as a 2-year pilot project in 2019. As per this program, the investor will not need to prove his net-worth to be more than CAD$300,000 and the investment can be CAD $100,000. However, it is important that these two are legally earned. The investor should have a business ownership of a minimum of 51% and should be able to generate a minimum of one job for the locals there. They should also prove their language efficiency. This kind of investment is possible in only those areas of British Columbia where the population is not more than 75,000. More like a community.

BC’s Entrepreneur Immigration – Strategic Projects allows businesses outside Canada, to set up a branch in British Columbia. Such projects should be able to provide a proper business plan and its contribution to the economy of Canada. With this, key managerial staff, professional and technical staff, who intend to relocate to BC permanently can apply for their nominations through BC PNP. It requires that, such applicant need to hold a minimum equity investment of value CAD $500,000 in the new branch being set-up. This set-up should be able to provide a minimum of 3 jobs to the locals there. The investor can establish or purchase or expand his/her prospects in BC through this stream.
