Ayurvedic Treatment For Vitamin-D Deficiency - Know More
by Kudrati Ayurved Parkinson Treatment in IndiaThe modern-day fast life
and the corporate hamster wheel has led people to stay indoors and work in an
office environment. Such life leads to the least sun exposure causing a decline
in vitamin-D levels in the body. This leads to the body exposed to various
diseases including muscle weakness, bone fragility and decline in metabolism.
However, Ayurveda is considered to be excellent medicine for Vitamin-D deficiency.
Ayurvedic professionals advise people with this deficiency to intake
vitamin-rich diet which involves cow milk, spinach, soy products, yogurt,
paneer, fish and other seafood, egg yolks, cereals, and mushrooms. People
should also do Pranayam and yoga especially Surya Namaskar and also, try to
engage themselves in routine early morning walks for adequate morning sunlight
exposure. 10-15 minutes bath using herbal oils are also considered to be
effective in case of vitamin-D deficiency.
It is believed by medical professionals that vitamin-D deficiency may be
an essential cause of the decline in calcium levels in a human body. Thus, for
patients suffering from diseases such as Parkinson during which
movement-related problems are early-stage symptoms, Ayurvedic medicine is used
to increase calcium and control these symptoms. Thus, Parkinson’s
treatment in India is undertaken by Ayurvedic medicine for a major
part.
Under Ayurveda, Parkinson’s disease has internal and external application
treatment. Internal medicine involves herbal drinks and powder concocted using
various natural medicinal ingredients. Some of these medicines are Ashwagandha
churana and Dasamula arista. Massages using herbal oils and nose drops are
included in the external application. This result is either control of the
symptoms or digression of the disease depending upon its severity. Since
Ayurveda focuses on the whole body instead of a specific part for treatment, it
is able to treat genetic diseases such as muscular dystrophy which were
declared as non-curable in many countries. The patients cannot be fully
recovered as it is not possible to change genes but the progression of muscular
dystrophy can either be stopped or slowed.
The muscular dystrophy treatment in Ayurveda follows three steps
including growth and nutrition to the body as a whole and retarded muscles in
specific and maintenance of all ranges of movements for the joints. This leads
to the strengthening of muscles for an extended period of time. Thus, Ayurveda
offers a vast expanse of opportunities for growth in the medical field.
