Ayurvedic medicine for kidney

by Shipra Sharma Kidney Treatment in Ayurveda

Summary:

The roots of Ayurveda lie in the Indian subcontinent. It is said that the knowledge was passed on from the gods to the gurus to the practitioners. Earlier, it was the only form of treatment available in the Indian subcontinent. Surgical procedures and Ayurvedic medicines have been a part of Ayurveda for a very long time now. Some practitioners have adopted Ayurvedic medicine for kidney and have developed new formulas to treat multiple diseases.

Ayurvedic Medicine

Karma Ayurveda is an Ayurvedic firm. Established in 1937, this organisation aims at providing natural relief to many kidney diseases. Doctor Puneet Dhawan, the co-founder of Karma Ayurveda and a kidney specialist provides this alternative form of treatment in exchange of dialysis and kidney transplant.

Kidney transplant is not only an expensive procedure but also causes various complications in the body. It is not easily available either because finding a kidney donor is difficult. Dialysis is another form of purification of blood, which the kidneys cannot perform naturally.

Kidney transplant is done when the donor shares the same blood type. There are other factors that are important to match for one to be a donor, one checks for the blood type, the tissue type and cross match. When all three factors are affirmative, we can generally go ahead with the transplant. However, it is very important for the patient and the family to know that transplant is not a cure and there is no guarantee that the donated kidney will work properly. There are many risks associated with transplantation. The receiver may reflect the donors the kidney, which may lead to organ failure. The antibodies might attack the healthy kidney or it might get infected. Therefore dialysis and kidney transplant are not hundred percent effective. Additionally, they cost a lot, it is difficult to find a donor and they are painful treatments.

Ayurvedic medicines make use of herbs which are not found easily. These herbs are handpicked and then mixed together to form a potent formula that can reverse kidney failure. There are a large number of kidney patients who are looking for a cure for kidney diseases which is pain free and inexpensive. When they are unable to find one they are driven towards dialysis and transplant. Karma Ayurveda offers Ayurvedic medicine for kidney failure and treats patients effectively.

Doctor Puneet Dhawan, a kidney specialist has cured over 35,000 patients and many other people are under treatment. Patients are very happy with this treatment because it is very effective.

Kidneys are important organs and are a part of the excretory system. They are the size of fist, and are located on either side of the body. Kidneys have a number of functions and some of them are the flirtation of excess water and toxins from the blood into the urine. This results in the removal of all the waste from the body. In this manner kidneys maintain the level of salts and minerals in the body and also maintain the chemical composition of blood. The kidneys also help in the production of red blood cells and essential hormones.

Each kidney is composed of million tiny nephrons, which in turn have tiny blood vessels called glomeruli that perform filtration.

It could be the case that only 20-10 percent of your kidneys might be functioning properly but there may be no symptoms of kidney damage. Kidneys are smart organs that do not show symptoms easily and can also compensate for the loss caused. However, when the disease has progressed to a certain degree, it can show symptoms and the damage can be irreversible. It is then that the Ayurvedic medicines for kidney failure should be taken. Ayurvedic medicines will help in overcoming the loss caused to the tissue due to inflammation or buildup of clumps on the tissue. After repairing the tissue, they also aid in the production of red blood cells thereby restoring body balance.

Writer’s introduction:

I am an industrial worker and my mother was very ill last year. We did not have the money or the resources for dialysis, which the doctor had recommended, so I read a lot and found out about Karma Ayurveda. Here they provide Kidney Treatment in Ayurveda, which is potent and beneficial to the body. I would like to express my gratitude to the doctors at Karma Ayurveda.
