AWS SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT ASSOCIATE

After almost 9 years using AWS in my work as a systems administrator, I have decided to earn the AWS Certified Solutions Architect and AWS Certified Sysops Administrator certifications. In the certification process I will learn a lot of things and I will know others that are not necessary for me at work.

My goal is to periodically post the topics I will be discussing on the blog as I prepare for the aws solutions architect certification exam.

What AWS certifications are there?

Today there are 9 AWS certification exams:

Certified Cloud Partitioner

Developer Associate

Solutions Architect Associate

Sysops Administrator

Security Specialist

Big Data Specialist

Advanced Networking Specialty

Devops Pro

Solutions Architect Professional

In my case, I am interested in Solutions Architect and Sysops Administrator. To access the Professional level exams it is necessary to have a current Associate certification, so I will first go to Solutions Architect Associate and then to Sysops Administrator Associate.

It is possible that later I will be encouraged to go for Developer Associate, but I will think about that when the time comes and when I have with me the other two that interest me the most. I am a system administrator, not a 100% developer.

Are aws solutions architect certification easy?

I'll update this post when I get them, but I don't think they are super difficult. It's a matter of having flight hours on AWS (I use certain AWS services on a daily basis at work) and organizing for learning.
