  • Avoid emotional attachment

It is difficult to leave the place with so much attachment. But keep emotional touch aside; deal your buyers as business person. The transaction should be purely financial. In contrast, try to flaunt them with the memories.

  • Hiring an inexperienced agent

If you haven't sold your home before, it is advisable to hire a good experienced agent. Though they demand for heavy commission, but they will help you in setting a fair and competitive selling price of your house. They bring in potential buyers and ensures quick sale.

  • Improper pricing

Thoroughly investigate the value of your property in market as the buyers will also do before making the purchase. Stay a step ahead of them and then calculate the pricing of your home. Overpricing and underpricing spoils a good deal.

  • Maintenance of house

Proper cleaning and repairs are necessary. Buyers look into every minute things of your house. This small carelessness can undo your great deal. Avoid Minor issues like broken doorknob, patches on the wall, bad odours to leave a good impression.

  • Bad Picturisation

Nowadays, buyers are interested to see the photos of your house before visiting. Good photography attracts the target easily. Click the pictures in daytime with high camera quality or you can hire a photographer for the same.

  • Covering major problems

It is senseless to hide any damage in the property; buyer’s inspection will reveal it. It is better to fix it prior the visit, or compensate the price. You can also offer credit for the repairs to the buyer.
