Due to its versatile nature, it is used to pave roads, tennis courts, driveways, tennis courts, golf cart paths, racetracks, golf cart paths. It has different capabilities and is used accordingly in different circumstances.

As per the job the asphalt type or mix differs in nature and is prepared artificially with the aggregates, sand and stone dust. The Asphalt mix differs on the basis of sizes of the loads, noise to be absorbed, reducing the splash & to hold the spray while raining.

Here are a few types of asphalt mixes that are used for different types of paving jobs:

Perpetual Pavement

This is basically used on the roadways and is a multi-layered paving process. It is designed in a way that it increases the usefulness and the durability of the roadway. It provides a strong and flexible base that prevents cracks in the bottom. The middle layer is made strong to last long and then finally the top most layer is applied that gives a smooth and permanent driving solution.  The topmost layer can be replaced as and when required. This type of asphalt can be produced in the Asphalt Batch Mix Plant which is ideal construction equipment.

Porous Asphalt

This is used basically in parking lots and in other water management projects. Porous asphalt has absorbent nature which allows the water to drain through the surface. This water is then treated through and recharge bed and finally into the soil. Similar to other asphalts, this is best produced in an Asphalt Batch Mix Plant.

Quiet Asphalt

As the name suggests it is used to reduce the road noise. When produced in an Asphalt Batch Mix Plant it reduces the road noise to approximately 50%. This type of asphalt mix fits perfectly into the areas where the localities are situated too close to the roads.

Hot-Mix Asphalt

Hot-mix asphalt is the most commonly used type of asphalt. It can be best used in driveways and the areas near your home as it has the ability to deliver great finishes that help in making the roads smoother. This type of asphalt mix can be made in a normal mixing plant however for best results the use of an Asphalt Batch Mix Plant is recommended by the experts.

Warm-Mix Asphalt

This is a technology based asphalt mix that uses comparatively lower temperatures. This type of asphalt mix delivers many benefits such as cutting fuel consumption and decreasing the production of greenhouse gases

There is an Asphalt Batch Mix Plant in India that delivers the best asphalt mixing solution. Hence if you have any plans of paving of any of the areas around your property choose the right mix for the right place and enjoy long term benefits.
