Are You Ready To Cherish This Christmas?

Happy December! Yes! The December is here! Everyone is ready and eager to celebrate Christmas at their houses. The Christmas tree is going to be up and decorated, Christmas tunes are being played all day and our holiday baking “to do” list is about miles long. To combat the baking difficulty, here is a Christmas Baking recipe that would be fun to with hot chocolate, and the ever preferred peppermint candy to create a Christmas cupcake. I am thrilled with how appetizing and yummy these Hot Chocolate Cupcakes with Peppermint Buttercream fabricated and hope you enjoy them as much as it deserves.

These cupcakes are your fundamental chocolate recipe along with the addition of a Hot Chocolate preparation. The blend of chocolate and peppermint is perfect together and gives you some fresh breath!

To add some extra Cake Decorations on top, ornament it with homemade peppermint bark, which is a sweet. You can certainly wrap up the bark and give away as presents. In case you don’t want to hassle with the extra step of creating the bark, you can easily buy some ready-made available at the Party Supplies store.

This recipe definitely deserves to be added in your Christmas baking list! Your friends and relatives are confirmed to go crazy if you include these cupcakes in your party. Here we go!!

Hot chocolate Cupcakes with Peppermint Butter cream (20 cupcakes)

Ingredients for cake:


2 1/2 cups flour

2 cups crumbled sugar

1 tsp salt

3 eggs

1 cup cocoa powder

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 packet Hot Chocolate

3/4 cup warm milk

3/4 cup oil

1 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat oven at 350 degrees and line cake pans with the cupcake liners.

In a bowl of stand mixer blend dry ingredients: cocoa powder, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt to taste.

Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients: hot chocolate, milk mixture, eggs, vegetable oil and extract of vanilla.

Beat with medium speed till the mixture is well combined, scraping down all sides of bowl as needed.

Fill cupcake liners with batter upto 2/3 full.

Bake it for about 15minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out unstuck.

Let cupcakes cool down in pans for about 5 minutes, and then remove it to wire racks for complete cooling.

Once the baked cupcakes are completely cool, frost it with Peppermint Butter cream and garnish with Peppermint Bark.

For Cake Decorations, wrap them up in Cupcake Wrappers and embellish with Party supplies readily available in the market.
