Place a line of masking tape down on one side of the joint before using
carpenters glue to attach two pieces of wood.

Secure both pieces and use a waste cloth to wipe out excess glue.

Now remove the tape and repeat the same process for the other side of the
joint.

Allow it to dry for at least one hour completely.

other glues.

Animal or Hide glue:
This type of glue is the
original glue. Hide glue is make out of animal connective tissue. It is used
for making instruments and traditional woodworks. It can be kept is refrigerator
for several weeks. In warmer temperature it quickly gets its strength
destroyed.

Epoxy glue:
Epoxy glue is a
waterproof glue the cure fames as epoxy glue can vary a great deal. The longer
it takes to cure the stronger the bond is. This is an advantage that epoxy glue
has over PVA glue. Epoxy glue is a good choice when joints is off and needs a
little fitting. It does a good job in filling the gaps in between the woods.
