Apple will replace its Intel chips with Apple chips

Intel Inside will no more be the heart and soul of Apple’s computers.
A piece of information has been leaked that the third largest computer maker will soon replace the Intel chip being used on their computers with its own chips. That means Apple will have its chips manufactured and used in its computers.

An initiative, code called Kalamata, continues to be in early phases. However, includes as a portion of a bigger strategy to produce most Apple’s apparatus — for example Macs, I phones, and I-pads — work equally and smoothly together, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing private info. The project, which executives have approved, will likely result in a multi-step transition.

This is not the first time we’ve heard that these rumors regarding Apple chucking Intel and turning MacBooks into glorified I-pads.

If Apple makes this move and stops using the x86 platform, then I am a little worried about the people who are buying their computers and platforms today because they won’t get full Apple support then.
And for Hackintoshes, I am sure that the open source community will figure out a way to work things out with Apple’s new chip or the architecture. I say this based on their long history of creating and developing Hackintoshes and letting people Install MAC OS on windows based systems. But communities like tonymacx86 and hackintosh.zone are a little concerned about Apple’s agenda.
