Apostasy in the Church

Meaning—Abandonment of a former Loyalty. There have been so many divisions in the Church these days it has truly abandoned the true teachings of our Lord and Savior that He has set down before us to live and go by.

Man is a moral agent before and after Conversion. If man cannot fall after Conversion he is NOT free and is no more than a mere machine. We must learn as Gods’ children to be in completely Harmony with God and His will for us and, to conform to it at all cost.

If we cease to be, this is what is meant by “Apostasy” and a Falling away from the Grace of God. Related Scriptures: 1Sam.10: 6-10/ 28:16; Heb. 6: 4-7/12: 14, 15; 1Tim.5: 15; Gal.5: 4; Lk.8: 13; Rev 2:4, 5.

“Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven”. Matthew 7:21.

At present in America alone there are over 250 different denominations. Similar on the surface yet; each holding different human opinions. Teaching human doctrines peculiar to their particular group.

If these differences had not existed, such separate groups would never have developed. The present widespread religious division then is not over what the Bible teaches, but over human opinions and doctrines.

We should and must not allow any one deceive us in thinking that there is any other doctrine but that of The Doctrine of Christ.
