An Advertiser said that I send too much traffic so I got BLOCKED
by Thanapoom L. Li Tintin in Thailand I am a member of Teampromote and I can send lots of real traffic from real people , but is not a free service. I have to pay for these traffic to get people see what I advertise. Not all people who see's what I advertise will click on the link that I put up.BUT I WAS BLOCKED by an Advertiser
and I got a message to my email saying
This promoter produces an unusually high number of clicks that are unlikely to achieve results, and devalues the efforts of other promoters.
What I know is that you need to give lots of impression in order to get some clicks from some people who might be interested with what I promote and if your advertisement is what they are looking for , they might buy what you are offering
Here is an example
with over 13,000 page views from all of the promoters and I generated only 307 clicks which is only 2.6% click rate , I think the conversion is really low, but how can we know if what you offer is what they will need or not and if what you offer is worth buying for them or not.
This is my statistic from one of the campaigns that I joined
Click EPs | 3,070/3,580 | |
Comment EPs | 0/290 | |
Backlink EPs | 50/950 | |
Post EPs | 0/120 | |
Referred Promoters | 2/15 |
if you are the person who blocked me I'd really appreciate if you will answer me and also to warn other people who knows how to send visitors in the coming future. Because the traffic that I paid for cannot be returned too , while your visitors to your page has already made some change to get your site on Alexa too.
If you are an advertiser and don't want my traffic please send me a message telling me that don't join your campaign, please

Yes! I totally agree with philippe, Ptc site are send traffic, but there is no such result we have found, because user clicks ads, get credited & Cut of the window, thats it! Sep 29th 2011 09:29 |

Well, I think blocking is not the solution in my point of view because advertiser need traffic and Jun is providing that, so what is wrong with it? If he has to restrict something than he must write in the instructions like PTC traffic will not be allowed but without any restrictions I think it is not fair Sep 29th 2011 09:53 |

Zebgul, the money promoters get comes from the advertiser paying for creating the campaign, serious advertisers won't be interested in getting a great number of clicks from members of PTC sites, as most of them are not buyers, all they want is to click on ads to make money, I believe most of those who click on the order button won't translate into sales. Jun, you might reveal how the way you work so people understand why I say it's not targeted traffic, imo Sep 29th 2011 09:59 |

It's really fair i think. >>To Mr Zebgul and Jun : Please read the term before you joining campaings : "Prohibited to use third party to increase effort points" >>almost all advertisers want to sell products rather than increasing their traffic. >>Especially to Jun : because people doing something like you, many promoter has waste their time and make dumb their blog just for $0.01 for backlinks every 5 or more day. Right @Mr. Philippe. Most of the people click on the ad to get the credits. And all the clicks not turned in the sale. And it is also true that just by click we can not get traffic. As traffic in terms that any person should have spend some time to our site or our page. But just by clicking , people turn off the page and this can not consider whole as traffic. Jun, it sounds like you used some kind of "traffic blaster" in your TeamPromote campaign and that was not really fair to the other people in the TeamPromote campaign. I stay away from "traffic blasters" because much of the traffic is not real people but search "bots" that can cause a server to collapse. Even using some sort of "viral advertising" system is not appropriate for TeamPromote campaigns, as I see it. Sep 29th 2011 23:52 |

Jun, I believe that you received that message after I clicked the Block this Promoter link in my campaign. I would like to point out that the Description of the campaign stated "Explore the site. Check the products. Share your thoughts, plans and experiences as comments. Then promote it to your friends." when you joined. So the intention was for promoters to check out the site, so they could be in a position to know something about it and promote it effectively. When checking the report for the campaign owner I discovered that your referring page link took me to Landing Pages from other campaigns. I may have jumped to wrong conclusion that you were somehow manipulating the Landing Page. However, the effect of your method of promotion was potentially discouraging Promoters who were doing their promotion as outlined in the Description. Sep 30th 2011 04:59 |

anyway next time I will ask the advertisers first , before I put traffic to any campaigns that I will promote. Sep 30th 2011 20:10 |
Jun, I guess the traffic comes from PTC sites. Although some of them might click out of curiosity, I believe the PTC audience wants first and foremost to make money by clicking ads. I am not sure we could say this is targeted traffic, and that's what advertisers want. I hope other people read your article and see my comment, it could be an interesting discussion.
