Duval Street is one of the main streets in Key West that starts from the Gulf of Mexico up to the north of the Atlantic Ocean. This street has been sprinkled with some of the best cafes, boutique shops, food stalls, and bars.


The Southernmost House

The Southernmost House is a boutique hotel, the best-known Victorian-style buildings located just a block away from the Southernmost Point. This historic mansion was where five U.S Presidents stayed. The hostel was designed as a single bedroom mansion with open water view, two-story balconies, and large stained windows.

Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum

 Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum is located in White Street, Key West, Florida. This house was first bought by Ernest Hemingway in 151 during the Spanish colonial rule. The house features a lush green garden, a pool, 17th, and 18th-century Spanish architecture, and a number of written novels.

The Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory

 The Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory is located along 1316 Duval Street, Florida, United States. The butterfly park is home to around 50 to 60 different butterfly species from different parts of the world. The butterfly park has been constructed in a climate-controlled, glass-enclosed system to resemble a similar habitat. The conservatory center also features cascading waterfalls, trees, flowering plants, zebra finches, etc. 

Dry Tortugas National Park

Dry Tortugas National Park is a 109km national park in the United States located on the west of the Gulf of Mexico. This national park remains largely unspoiled and undisturbed; it preserves historical artifacts like Fort Jefferson and the seven Dry Tortugas islands which is one of the most isolated areas. The park is notable for its diverse sea life, tropical breeding grounds for different bird species, shipwrecks, and the multi-hued coral reefs. Fort Jefferson the gigantic unfinished coastal –fortress is the center of attraction here; it is composed of more than 16 million bricks making it the largest brick masonry structure in the United States.  Other popular activities include bird-watching, scuba diving, camping, snorkeling, picnicking, kayaking, fishing, swimming, etc.
