All About Yoga – International Yoga Day Special

The world is celebrating the fifth Annual International Yoga Day on 21st June 2019 and this year the theme will be “Climate Action”. The tradition of celebrating Yoga day began five years ago when the United Nations General Assembly declared 21st June as the International Yoga Day in 2015 pertaining to spreading the awareness of Yoga all around the globe. Yoga is an Indian origin practice and has been in existence since the time immemorial when ancient people began meditating to transform their mind and body. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated the want to celebrating one particular day for preaching Yoga all around the world to the United Nations General Assembly. It is the practice of Yoga that lets you blossom physically, mentally and spiritually. Recognizing the dire need of Yoga for betterment and welfare of the human being, this day is celebrated worldwide by the people of all countries through practicing meditation and organizing various debates, meetings, cultural performances, discussions and more.
