Agricultural Economist: What Will Follow the Climate Change Hoax Next Year?

Every decade, since 1970, the United States has had its own hoax to deal with.

During the 1970s it was the “Ice Age during which we were all going to die;” during the 1980s we were “all going to die because of acid rain;” then during the 1990s the hoax was that “we were all going to die because the ozone layer was gone;” and beginning in 2000 the hoax was that “global warming was melting the glaciers, and we were all going to die because of rising oceans;” and finally, beginning in 2010 the hoax became “climate change, and we were all going to die — in 12 years.”

For those who remember, it was former Vice President Al Gore who would become a multi-millionaire by touting that everyone was going to die because of global warming and when that hoax began to fizzle in 2010, as all hoaxes do, he declared climate change was going to kill everyone in as few as 12 years. The decade is going to end on Dec. 31 and so, if this trend continues, the left will have to come up with another hoax to continue until 2030. What that hoax will be is yet to be declared, but one can bet that the left will find something to take the place of the current climate change hoax.

But until the left comes up with a new hoax the climate change hoax will likely continue, at least for a while. One of the sad byproducts of all hoaxes is that they all drag the rising generations into them. Last week there was a rally at the state capital where a group, most of whom were of the rising generation, were whooping and hollering, and carrying around large signs deploring the coming end of the world due to climate change. This rally was a part of a worldwide rally led by a 16-year-old Swedish girl who was then giving a talk before the General Council of the United Nations. A nice gig if you can pull it off.

There are three major things these people are forgetting. The first is that just recently over 200 scientists called out climate change as nothing but a hoax. The second thing is that this hoax is nothing more than an effort by the world’s globalists to destroy the U.S. and what it has meant to the world since 1789 when it first began to be governed by the newly created Constitution that was inspired by the Lord. They also conveniently forget that America has been a major leader in cleaning up the environment and that China, India and Russia are today’s major environmental polluters. All Americans should be grateful that Donald Trump saw this global hoax and pulled out of the climate accord shortly after he took office, much to the chagrin of the world globalists.

The third thing that these people have forgotten is that the Creator of the earth has indicated that he is going to return and reign for 1,000 years. And since I am one of those who choose to take the Lord at his word, I am able to accept what is happening in the environment is due to natural phenomena, and not man made.

Several things are beginning to take place across the nation that are breathing new life into the teaching of the rising generations. The first: several states are now requiring the Bible be included in their schools’ teaching. Another movement that should help the rising generations is that several states now require that shop and homemaking be taught in their schools. It was a major mistake when these subjects were removed from the schools. I remember well my shop class. It helped me rebuild a rundown house and earn a substantial return for my efforts. In college my most remembered class was a personal finance class that has guided my financial investments for the past 65 years.

Hopefully the day will come when the two foundational documents of America, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, become required subjects to graduate from high school. Such a class would help each rising generation to fully understand America’s two foundational laws and would end the hysteria caused by the endless hoaxes the left has used in their continuing efforts to destroy America and its Godly inspired documents.
