Process to Recover Microsoft Account

Go to account.live.com/acsr and enter your email address, phone number, or username for the account you're trying to recover.
Please enter an email address that you can use to contact you about your request (other than the one you are trying to get).
Enter the personality displayed on the screen to indicate that you are not a robot and select Next.
A menu appears asking you to confirm the customer's email address. Check the email with the security code, receive a text message, enter the code and select Confirm.
Fill in as much information as you can, even if you're not sure.
This will allow you to reset your password. Follow the on-screen instructions to continue. Use this new password with your current email address to log in to your Live account at account.live.com.
